How Sweet It Is!

127College basketball’s Sweet Sixteen, that is.  What a great weekend of college basketball!  The Michigan State Spartans had an excellent game and made the cut as did three other Big Ten teams (Indiana, Ohio State, and Michigan).  History was made this year as the very first #15 seed (Florida Gulf Coast) has advanced to the Sweet Sixteen.  Of the top four seeds, we have already lost one #1 seed (Gonzaga), one #2 seed (Georgetown), one #3 seed (New Mexico), and two 4 seeds (Kansas State and Saint Louis).  The lower seeds that remain: one #6 seed (Arizona), one #9 seed (Wichita State), one #12 seed (Oregon), one #13 seed (La Salle), and one #15 seed (Florida Gulf Coast).  Congratulations to all of the Sweet Sixteen teams . . . good luck next week.
