Cheesecake of the Month – December 2013!

With Christmas just around the corner, here is a cheesecake that sounds amazingly delicious . . . Gingerbread Cheesecake (courtesy of Martha Stewart).  I may have to give this one a try just to see how it turns out.  It combines all of the ingredients and richness for a standard cheesecake, but then throws in all of the wonderful ingredients for gingerbread (molasses, ginger, cinnamon, and clove).   And to top it all off, a garnish of gingerbread man cookies.  Yummy!  I’m a real glutton for all things “ginger.”  My holiday baking included the following items: gingersnaps, frosted soft molasses cookies, frosted gingerbread cupcakes, and now I’m going to have to add this gingerbread cheesecake.  The aroma in my kitchen is to die for!

    Great post Tom. Glad you included the link in your Christmas Card. I’ll have Aunt Marita try it out….hers is kind of hard to beat though,

    I understand completely. It is hard to give up on the tried and true recipes . . . but sometimes it doesn’t hurt to try a new recipe. Of course I’m a firm believer that one can never have too many cheesecake recipes.
