College Football 2015, Week Three!

127This week the Spartans hosted the Air Force Academy.  Despite their inability to totally shut down the Falcon’s option attack (they did hold them beneath their average), the Spartans were able to win by forcing three turnovers and having the edge in the time of possession.   There were a couple of top-ten upsets this weekend (#2 and #6 both lost) and five teams in the top twenty-five were given their first losses of the season as the march to the playoff continues. Eighteen of the top-25 teams remain unbeaten.  In this week’s AP poll the Big Ten Conference had four (4) teams listed in the top twenty-five (Ohio State [#1], Michigan State [#2], Northwestern [#17], and Wisconsin [#22]).

Next up for the Spartans: the Chippewas of Central Michigan University.  Go Green!
