Big Ten Tournament Champs, 2018!

Congratulations to the Michigan Wolverines who were crowned the Big Ten tournament champions yesterday.    The Spartans won their quarterfinal game against Wisconsin, but lost in their semi-final round to the Michigan Wolverines who then defeated Purdue in the finals to claim the title.    The Big Ten continues to have four teams among the AP top-25:  Michigan State [#2], Purdue [#8], Ohio State [#13], and Michigan [#15].

Next up for the Spartans: the NCAA Tournament.  The brackets and seedings will be revealed on Sunday.  Go Green!

The upsets this week included:
Michigan State (#2) losing to Michigan (#15).
Duke (#5) losing to unranked Virginia Tech by one (1) point.
Kansas (#6) losing to unranked Oklahoma State.
Purdue (#8) losing to Michigan (#15).
North Carolina (#9) losing to unranked Miami by three (3) points and losing to Duke (#5).
Texas Tech (#12) losing to West Virginia (#20).
Ohio State (#13) losing to unranked Penn State by one (1) point.
Auburn (#14) losing to unranked Arkansas.
Rhode Island (#17) losing to unranked St. Joseph’s and losing to unranked Davidson by two (2) points.
Clemson (#18) losing to unranked Syracuse by three (3) points.
West Virginia (#20) losing to unranked Texas.
Nevada (#21) losing to unranked San Diego State by five (5) points.
Kentucky (#23) losing to unranked Florida.
Middle Tennessee State (#24) losing to unranked Marshall.
