Happy Friday!  As we head into the weekend, if you are in need of an idea about what to do, here is another origami project you could tackle.  Since I seem to be on a Star Wars kick lately, why not feature some of the origami versions of the assorted flying ships.  Let’s start with the Millenium Falcon (courtesy of Shu Sugamata).  Happy folding!

Yes, the movie has been in theaters for a couple of months now, but can a true fan ever get enough?  Here are a couple of musical medleys that are sure to brighten your day  . . . a vocal, a cappella version (I have long been a fan of a cappella), and a violin a la light saber version.  Enjoy!

Hey Star Wars fans, here is a wonderful Star Wars-themed, four-part a cappella musical tribute, set to cinematic themes from composer John Williams.  Corey Vidal is simply wonderful.  This is just fun!  Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Star Wars!

May 25, 2009
I just know that you couldn’t have gotten through your day without this precious tidbit of information.   But, did you know . . .

that the Star Wars saga began on this date at a theater near you in 1977. On the same date in 1983, the “Return of the Jedi,” the third
installment of Star Wars, premiered. The second installment, “Empire Strikes Back,” premiered on May 21, 1980.

May the force be with you!   And for all you Trekkies out there, if you have not yet gone to see the new Star Trek movie . . . “WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?”  It is excellent!
