May I Quote You?

March 3, 2012

Ah, so many quotation, so little time.  I am always running across great quotations; quotations that make me stop, and pause.  Here are a few of my recent favorites that I pondered just this week.  I like to keep a file of quotations handy so that I can refresh my memory and continue to ponder these concepts from time to time.  The right one(s) can certainly help regain perspective.

“Learn from the past, set vivid, detailed goals for the future, and live in the only moment of time over which you have any control: now.” — Denis Waitley

“Begin challenging your own assumptions. Your assumptions are your windows on the world. Scrub them off every once in awhile, or the light won’t come in.”  — Alan Alda

“Rest when you’re weary. Refresh and renew yourself, your body, your mind, your spirit. Then get back to work.”  — Ralph Marston

“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.”  — Maya Angelou

“I don’t know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone.”  — Bill Cosby
