Abandoned But Not Forgotten, Number Eight!

Before I get to this week’s location, allow me a quick “Happy Anniversary” on completing my fifth year of blogging!

This week we travel to the Kerry Way walking path between Sneem and Kenmare in Ireland.  Nature certainly seems to be reclaiming this structure quite nicely.  What I did not know previously, the Kerry Way is one of Ireland’s longest signposted walking trails (over 130 miles, beginning and ending in Killarney) and that those wishing to walk the entire trail should plan on taking about a week to nine days to complete.  The beauty of the area would certainly make this trip worth the effort.
