College Basketball 2016, Week Eleven!

127Twas a bad week for Spartan basketball (2 losses).  The Spartans had some serious shooting problems and fell for the second time this season t0 the Hawkeyes of Iowa, and it wasn’t even close (major bummer).  Then they lost by one point on the road at Wisconsin.  Definitely time for the Spartans to regroup.  There is now only one (1) undefeated team remaining in the top-25:  (SMU).  The Big Ten currently has five (5) teams in the AP top-25: Maryland (#7), Iowa (#9), Michigan State (#11),  Purdue (#22), and Indiana (#25).

Next up for the Spartans: a couple of home games: Nebraska (Wednesday) then Maryland (Saturday).  Go Green!

Kansas (#1) losing to West Virginia (#11).
Oklahoma (#1) losing to Iowa State (#19) by five (5) points.
Maryland (#3) losing to unranked Michigan by three (3) points.
Michigan State (#4) losing to Iowa (#16).
Michigan State (#4) losing to unranked Wisconsin by one (1) point.
Miami (#8) losing to Virginia (#13).
Miami (#8) losing to unranked Clemson.
Duke (#9) losing to unranked Clemson by five (5) points.
Duke (#9) losing to unranked Notre Dame by four (4) points.
Duke (#20) losing to unranked Syracuse by two (2) points.
Providence (#12) losing to unranked Seton Hall.
Virginia (#13) losing to unranked Florida State.
Kentucky (#14) losing to unranked Auburn by five (5) points.
Iowa State (#17) losing to unranked Texas by three (3) points.
South Carolina (#19) losing to unranked Alabama.
